History

Etymology

Acronym of yet another micronational organisation, originally referring to an intermicronational organisation (“an organisation composed of micronations”); perhaps by analogy with yet another (YA), programmer slang denoting unoriginality, and so-called for the abundance of short-lived micronational organisations. First attested in 2000 (see quotations), but ostensibly dates to circa 1998.
